1. About Muskan
Muskan is the home-catering business of Chef Uzma, offering event catering and weekly home-style halal meals within Melbourne's south-east. Orders are placed through this app and confirmed person-to-person by message or email.
2. Orders & confirmation
An order or catering enquiry sent from this app is a request, not a contract — it becomes confirmed when Chef Uzma replies to confirm availability, price and details. Weekly meal orders close at 6pm the day before delivery; catering bookings need at least 4 days' notice.
3. Payment
Payment is by PayID, bank transfer, or cash on pickup/delivery, as agreed in your order confirmation. Catering events may require a deposit to secure the date. No card details are collected by this app.
4. Delivery & pickup
Weekly meals are delivered on set evenings or picked up from the Clayton kitchen. Catering delivery is arranged per event. Please provide accurate address and access details — re-delivery may incur a fee.
5. Food safety & allergens
All food is prepared in a kitchen holding halal certification and council food-safety registration. Allergen and reheating information is provided per meal. Meals are prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts, gluten and dairy — if you have a severe allergy, tell us before ordering.
6. Cancellations
Weekly meal orders can be cancelled free of charge before the order cutoff. Catering cancellations within 48 hours of the event may forfeit the deposit, since ingredients are bought fresh per event. Nothing here limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
